Automated Machines payment stations handle the complete payment cycle without staff involvement. The APS 17 and APS 32 accept US bills and coins with automatic change, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, NFC, and QR. The APS Podium 21 provides card-and-QR payment in a compact footprint. The Mobile POS enables field collection and valet parking. Starting at $1,850.
Automated payment stations replace the traditional cashier booth as the payment collection point for your parking facility. When a driver is ready to leave, they bring their QR ticket to the nearest APS, scan it to retrieve the session, and pay using whichever method they prefer: inserting bills into the NV4000 recycler, dropping coins into the Smart Hopper, tapping a card on the NFC terminal, or scanning a QR code from a digital wallet. The station calculates the amount, processes the payment, dispenses change if applicable, and prints a receipt. Once payment is confirmed, the exit console validates the ticket and opens the barrier arm.
The APS also supports the optional Retail POS Integration module, allowing customers to pay for their parking directly at the store checkout counter along with their purchase. This eliminates APS queuing for shoppers and reduces the number of APS units required in high-volume retail environments. All APS models are manufactured in-house by Automated Machines and are available with galvanized steel (Base) or stainless steel (Plus) enclosures, both rated IP56 for outdoor installation.
Full-featured outdoor automated payment stations. Accept bills, coins, credit/debit cards, NFC, and QR. Bill recycler and automatic change dispensing included.
Supplemental payment options for secondary locations, valet operations, high-demand events, and cashier-assisted checkout.

The APS 17 and APS 32 are equipped to handle every payment preference, from cash to the latest contactless methods.
NV4000 bill recycler recycles 4 denominations for change. Smart Hopper coin dispenser handles 13 denominations. Automatic change in seconds.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Credit and debit. EMV chip and magnetic stripe. Integrated certified card terminal.
Apple Pay, Google Pay, and tap-to-pay cards. Customers hold their phone or card near the terminal for instant payment without inserting or swiping.
Integrated QR scanner reads digital wallet QR codes. Compatible with major US mobile payment apps. Also used for parking ticket validation.
Retail POS Integration (optional). The optional Retail POS Integration module ($1,500, ref INTLCAJAS) connects the parking system directly with store checkout lanes. Customers pay for parking at the register with their purchase. No APS visit required. Ideal for shopping centers, grocery stores, and large-format retail. Automatic discounts based on purchase amount are supported.
The NV4000 is a high-reliability bill recycler that accepts and recycles up to 4 US dollar bill denominations. Recycling means the station uses incoming bills to make change, dramatically reducing how often operators need to replenish the cash float. The recycler accepts bills at 59 notes per minute and handles fitness-level sorting to reject damaged or suspicious currency.
The Smart Hopper manages up to 13 coin denominations and dispenses change automatically. Coin acceptance is handled by a separate hopper acceptor that processes 3 coins per second and has a capacity suited for high-volume operations. The system monitors coin levels and alerts operators via the monitoring platform before the hopper runs low, preventing service interruptions.
The APS 17 uses a 17-inch touchscreen and the APS 32 a 32-inch touchscreen, both at 1000 nits brightness with full anti-condensation lamination. The user interface guides drivers step-by-step through the payment process in large, high-contrast text. When idle, the screen displays customizable advertising content or parking facility messaging.
A wide-angle HD camera captures every transaction, linking the image to the payment record in the monitoring platform. Disputes over incorrect change or fraudulent chargeback claims are quickly resolved with timestamped video evidence. The camera also captures the vehicle plate for cross-reference with the LPR records at the entry and exit consoles.
All APS doors use 12 VDC electronic locks that can be opened remotely from the monitoring platform or from an authorized mobile device. A technician or cash collection officer can request a door opening from the central office, with the event logged automatically. This eliminates the need for physical key distribution and provides a full audit trail of door events.
Each APS includes an integrated 7-port Gigabit PoE switch, allowing the unit to serve as the network hub for nearby consoles and cameras without additional switch hardware. Connectivity interfaces include Gigabit Ethernet, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB, and RS485, supporting a wide range of integration scenarios with existing parking management systems.

The APS 17 and APS 32 accept US bills and coins with automatic change dispensing (NV4000 bill recycler and Smart Hopper coin dispenser), credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, NFC contactless payments including Apple Pay and Google Pay, and QR codes from digital wallets. The APS Podium 21 accepts card, NFC, and QR only, with no cash handling.
The primary difference is screen size. The APS 17 has a 17-inch 1000-nit touchscreen and is suitable for any parking location. The APS 32 has a 32-inch 1000-nit touchscreen, offering a larger and more visible interface for high-traffic environments. Payment capabilities, bill recycler, coin handling, card terminal, IP56 enclosure protection, and all other technical specifications are identical on both models. Base is galvanized steel, Plus is stainless steel.
Yes. The NV4000 bill recycler accepts and recycles up to 4 bill denominations, using incoming bills to make change and reducing cash replenishment frequency. The Smart Hopper coin dispenser handles up to 13 coin denominations. Change is dispensed within seconds of payment. The monitoring platform tracks cash levels in real time and alerts operators before the float runs low.
The APS Podium 21 is best for secondary payment points where space is limited, where cash handling is impractical (such as premium or VIP areas), or where your customer base predominantly uses card and digital payments. It is compact at approximately 10.4 by 53.1 by 10.2 inches and can be deployed in locations that would not accommodate the larger APS 17 or 32 footprint. For facilities that need full cash acceptance, the APS 17 or 32 is the appropriate choice.
The Mobile POS (PMP Android) is a portable Android device with integrated portable thermal printer. Valet attendants use it to issue entry transactions, record the vehicle, and process payment anywhere in the facility without a fixed station. It is also used to activate alternate entry and exit lanes during high-demand events to reduce congestion. The package includes the device, portable printer, billing license, and access control license at $1,850.
Yes. The optional Retail POS Integration module ($1,500, ref INTLCAJAS) connects the parking system directly with store checkout lanes. Customers present their parking QR ticket or vehicle plate at checkout, the cashier applies a discount or full payment, and the vehicle exits without visiting the APS. This eliminates APS queuing for shoppers and reduces transaction abandonment. Automatic discounts based on purchase amount are configurable per tenant or retailer.
