Our story

From Latin America to the US market

Automated Machines LLC was founded to bring a proven parking access control platform to the United States. Our parent organization -- operating under the CI24 brand in Colombia and the WOW Machines brand in Mexico -- has spent more than 17 years engineering, manufacturing, and maintaining parking systems for shopping malls, office towers, hospitals, airports, and large-format retail chains.

That track record is not just a number. It represents hundreds of thousands of vehicle transactions per day, systems operating at extreme temperatures, technical teams solving real-world problems, and a continuous cycle of hardware and software improvement driven by field experience at scale.

Every product we bring to the US has been validated across 200+ real-world installations before arriving at your facility. We do not field-test on our clients.

Our headquarters in Kingwood, Texas, serve as the operations base for the Houston metropolitan area and the broader Texas market. As we build local technical capacity, we are expanding our service coverage to additional states nationwide.

What has not changed in 17 years is our operating philosophy: we manufacture our own equipment, we write our own software, and we maintain what we install. This vertical integration is the reason we can make guarantees that other vendors cannot.

What we do

Complete parking access control systems

We manufacture, install, and maintain every component of a modern automated parking facility. From the first vehicle detection sensor at the entry lane to the cloud-based reporting dashboard, every piece is designed to work together as a unified system.

C

Entry and Exit Consoles

Freestanding access terminals with 1000-nit sunlight-readable LCD displays (8", 17", or 21"), integrated QR ticket printer, thermal receipt printer, Mifare card reader, HD wide-angle camera, 24 GHz microwave presence sensor, and speaker for audio guidance. Manufactured in galvanized or stainless steel. Designed for 24/7 continuous operation.

P

Automated Payment Stations

Self-service kiosks that fully replace the cashier. Accept cash (bill recycler up to 4 denominations, coin acceptor up to 13 denominations), credit and debit cards, contactless NFC (Apple Pay, Google Pay), and QR codes. Integrated with electronic invoicing. Optional retail POS integration lets customers pay for parking directly at the store checkout.

B

Barriers with LPR Cameras

High-traffic vehicle barriers with progressive deceleration, anti-impact sensor (raises automatically on imminent collision), and internal compartment for the LPR camera. Our license plate recognition camera (4 MP, 98% accuracy, Hisilicon OCR processor) operates day and night with a minimum 0.01 Lux illumination threshold. MCBF greater than 6,000,000 cycles.

G

Vehicle Guidance System

IP camera modules detect occupied and available spaces, directing drivers to the nearest open spot via interior LED signs and large exterior panels. Reduces congestion at entry lanes, improves the driver experience, and increases parking turnover. Software-managed with real-time occupancy dashboards for facility operators.

S

Monitoring Software

Cloud-based platform with AI-powered self-management module. Real-time dashboards, transaction-level video recording, plate and time-based investigations, automated alerts, and remote barrier operation. Monthly activity and incident reports. The AI module runs proactive diagnostics and sends alerts before a failure affects operations.

F

Face Parking (Proprietary)

Our exclusive vehicle facial recognition technology identifies the driver through tinted windows using specialized Near-Infrared sensors. Provides dual identification: license plate plus driver face simultaneously. Generates alerts for unauthorized drivers using a registered vehicle. Full privacy compliance documentation included. No equivalent solution exists in the market.

Our approach

Why vertical integration matters

Most parking technology vendors are resellers. They purchase hardware from manufacturers, bundle third-party software, and outsource maintenance. When something goes wrong, accountability is fragmented across multiple vendors.

Automated Machines operates differently. We control the full stack from hardware design to field service, and that integration is what allows us to offer guarantees that resellers cannot match.

  • 1

    In-house manufacturing

We design and manufacture our own consoles, payment stations, barriers, and barrier arms. No dependency on third-party hardware suppliers for critical components. Direct control over specifications, quality, and availability of spare parts.

  • 2

    Proprietary software platform

Our access control software, monitoring platform, and AI self-management module are built and maintained internally. Updates are deployed remotely. No licensing fees to third-party software vendors get passed on to clients.

  • 3

    Full-service model

Installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, corrective visits, and remote support are all delivered by Automated Machines technicians. One vendor. One SLA. One point of accountability for 100% of the system.

  • 4

    Local critical parts inventory

We maintain a stocked inventory of critical components near your location. This eliminates the multi-week delays that are common when replacement parts must be ordered internationally. A critical failure triggers a 4-business-hour response, not a 4-week parts lead time.

Our values

What we stand for

Three principles guide every decision we make, from how we design equipment to how we structure our service agreements.

Reliability

Parking facilities operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Revenue stops when a lane goes down. Our entire service model is built around this reality: 24/7 AI monitoring catches problems before they become failures, preventive maintenance is scheduled monthly, corrective visits are unlimited, and our SLA commits to 4-business-hour response for critical outages. Uptime is not a selling point for us -- it is a contractual obligation.

Innovation

We invest continuously in our own technology. Face Parking -- our NIR-based driver identification system that works through tinted windows -- has no equivalent in the market. Our AI monitoring platform identifies developing faults before they cause disruptions. Our LPR cameras achieve 98% plate recognition accuracy across US, European, and Latin American plate formats. Innovation is not marketing language for us; it is applied engineering that solves real operational problems.

Service

Equipment that is not maintained deteriorates. That is why our standard service package includes monthly full preventive maintenance, unlimited corrective visits, a local technician assigned to your account, 3 replacement barrier arms per lane per year included at no additional cost, and remote support during extended hours. We sell a working system, not just hardware. The distinction matters when you are trying to run a profitable operation.

Service area

Starting in Texas, expanding nationwide

Automated Machines LLC is initially serving the Houston metropolitan area and the broader Texas market. Our operations base in Kingwood positions us for rapid response across Greater Houston, and our technical team covers the full state.

Texas represents a substantial initial market for us -- the state has a high density of commercial parking facilities, large-format retail centers, medical campuses, and corporate office parks, all of which are ideal candidates for automated access control.

We are actively building technical capacity in additional markets and plan to expand our direct service coverage to other major US metropolitan areas. Organizations with multi-site portfolios that span states are welcome to contact us to discuss a national rollout plan.
